Meet Carole Boerner
My Background
My own personal healing journey had been stagnant for a number of years. I yearned for healing looking at many modalities to find peace and harmony. Then, I happened upon the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model and found my pathway to the harmony and balance I desired.
Intending on integrating IFS into my coaching practice, I completed the IFS Institute's Level 1 training. My coaching practice quickly moved into primarily using the IFS model for personal development coaching. My Master's Program gave me much knowledge of neuroscience. I was very interested in the intersection of IFS and neuroscience. Thus, I completed another IFS training - Trauma and Neuroscience. I then completed the third & final level of IFS training and became certified in October 2022. I've continued to participate in trainings to enhance my skills.
More recently, I have begun to staff trainings for the IFS Institute. I very much enjoy teaching the model and it helps me continue to learn more.
My Approach
For long time, I have believed that every person has the answers they seek within themselves. Clients typically come to me to help resolve some inner conflict, change their behavior, or emotions. Using IFS, I guide individuals as they explore their internal system. The goal is to bring more self-leadership into ones system and begin harmonize different facets of themselves. This allows clients to achieve personal growth and well-being. Often, the coaching relationship provides the necessary support for the client to achieve their desired outcome.
My Services
Primarily, my coaching has been one-on-one sessions on Zoom or in person. I have done grief groups based on Frances Weller's Wild Side of Sorrow. I have also led an introductory to IFS group for a sober living home. If you're interested in working together, please contact me to schedule a free consultation.
