IFS Intensives are a longer session to help you with aspects of your life that you have difficulty remedying in a typical hour long session. Although much can be accomplished in regular, periodic sessions, we often can get more harmony with this approach.
The picture was taken right after I did an unburdening.
In deciding to add intensives to my offerings, I had few types of my clients in mind.
The first being clients come to me with a knowledge of IFS. These clients have a part or parts that have decided that IFS will solve a situation. While guiding these clients through their work, the problem solving parts take up much of the time in an hour long session.
The second is parts whom distract. These parts often bring up topics to explore that are outside of the clients goal(s) for working with me.
The third is one of my favorites - self-like parts. These parts (mine included) sometimes believe they are actually the client. However, the work may not be as effective in unburdening parts.
Preparing for a medical procedure is another reason to book an intensive. I have clients who found it very beneficial to prepare their internal system for medical procedures.

This is a free consultation to discuss whether or not an intensive is right for you. If you are a new client, it is also an opportunity to see if we're a good fit.
This is an hour long session to map out the parts known to be involved in this particular issue. We'll also acknowledge that there are likely other parts that are involved but have yet to come forward.
This hour long session addresses the needs of both the client and me during the 2-4 hours that we'll be together. We'll discuss the needs for breaks, perhaps bringing some creativity into the long session, and anything else that may be relevant. We may have time to do this in the Parts Mapping session.
We'll spend 2-4 hours together getting to know and building trust with the parts involved with the issue at hand.
This one hours session is designed to follow up with the client and the client's parts.
